The annual CMS Benefit Choice Open Enrollment Period is quickly approaching. The Open Enrollment will run for the period May 1 through May 31 with elections effective on July 1. Human Resources will be providing campus with additional information regarding the upcoming fiscal year benefit changes as soon as information is available.
A Benefit Choice Fair will be held from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center. During the fair, representatives will be available from the following groups to answer questions:
- CMS-provided vendors (Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Alliance, HealthLink, ComPsych, Delta Dental, EyeMed, and MetLife)
- Retirement planning (TIAA, Fidelity, Voya, SURS, and CMS)
- Human Resources Benefit Services
- Payroll Office
- Health Promotion and Wellness
CMS will be giving brief presentations about benefits for the upcoming year in the Brown Ballroom at 10 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m. on the day of the fair.
CMS will also have Quest Diagnostics available for free biometric screenings. Screenings are available to employees and their spouses (provided the spouse is enrolled as a CMS dependent). These screenings will be held in the Spotlight Room during the fair.
