Join us for an exciting night highlighting creativity and celebrating fashion on April 29 in the Brown Ballroom at Illinois State University. Mocktail hour will begin at 5 p.m., and the show will begin promptly at 6 p.m. Raffle tickets and fashion show merchandise will be sold at the event.
Elements is Illinois State University’s 22nd annual student-led fashion show. It offers a showcase of designs that revolve around the fundamental elements and principles of design. Throughout the show, you will see how designers have incorporated the elements of line, shape, texture, color, and pattern—and the principles of balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis, and unity—into their designs. Each piece tells a story and represents its creator’s unique vision and style.
Fashion is not just about the latest trends or styles; it is an artform that encompasses creativity, innovation, and individual expression. The elements and principles of design play a vital role in creating beautiful, functional, and visually appealing fashion pieces. Students have spent countless hours conceptualizing, sketching, and perfecting their designs, and we are excited to share their creativity with you.
