The annual University Research Symposium will be Friday, April 14, in the Brown Ballroom and Circus Room of the Bone Student Center. Additional oral presentations from the Department of Physics and the School of Theatre and Dance will be April 15 and 20.
The symposium is a university-wide showcase of scholarship, research, and creative achievement. More than 460 students from 29 programs are scheduled to participate in the symposium, which encourages cross-disciplinary association and focuses on communicating research and creative activity to the public.
The event is free and open to the public.
April 14 – Poster sessions
Morning session, 9-11 a.m., 148 entries
Afternoon session, 1-3 p.m., 135 entries
Each session will include a different mix of graduate and undergraduate students who will present and discuss their scholarly works.
April 14 – E-poster session
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Submissions can be viewed on one 65” computer monitor in the Circus Room. A showcase of the finalists’ printed images from the Image of Research Competition will also be on display.
April 15 – Oral presentations

School of Theatre and Dance, 3-5:30 p.m., Centennial East, Room 224
