Illinois State University’s Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts and School of Music will present Concerts on the Quad weekly at 7 p.m. from Monday, July 3 through Monday, July 31 on the east side of Cook Hall. All concerts are free and open to the public. Concertgoers should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

Monday, July 3—Twin Cities Brass Quintet
A local favorite performs music for the Fourth of July.

Monday, July 10—emily the band
The three-piece queer girl group shares their indie alt-pop anthems for the first time on the Quad.

Monday, July 17—Good Morning Bedlam
An innovative force in the Midwest folk scene returns for another energetic show.

Monday, July 24—An Evening of Jazz with Matthew Muñeses and Zubin Edalji
Enjoy a summer evening of hot licks and cool riffs with saxophonist Matthew Muñeses and trumpeter Zubin Edalji.

Monday, July 31—Singing Under the Stars
Illinois State University faculty and guests perform favorites from the Broadway and operatic stages.

Concerts on the Quad is sponsored by the Mirza Fund for Arts and Culture of the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation, the Alice and Fannie Fell Trust, and the Harmon Arts Grant Program.

In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be moved to the Concert Hall in Illinois State University’s Center for the Performing Arts, located on the southeast corner of the Quad, next to Williams Hall. Listen to radio stations WGLT (89.1 FM), WBNQ (101.5 FM), or WJBC (1230 AM) after 6 p.m. on concert days or follow Concerts on the Quad on Facebook for announcements of site changes.
