A planned power outage impacting many buildings on the Illinois State University campus will take place beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturday, July 22.  The planned outage for electrical equipment maintenance and replacement is expected to last up to 16 hours. 

The buildings listed below will be impacted by the July 22 planned outage and will be closed except for authorized personnel. Occupants of these buildings should plan accordingly on the day of the outage.  Additional information for departments, supervisors, building representatives, and residential students and staff directly impacted by the outage will be communicated closer to the date of the outage. 

Impacted buildings
Many of the impacted buildings will have limited emergency power from generators and batteries to support emergency lighting and other basic fire and life safety systems. An asterisk (*) indicates which buildings will not have emergency generator power during the planned outage.  A map of the impacted buildings can be found online.
