Three political science majors, Jack Abraham, Kerem Tasdan, and Jamie Twadell, traveled with four members of the Central Illinois Chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) to Washington, D.C., to participate in the conference and lobby day, June 10-13. CCL is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization that engages volunteers from across the country in climate advocacy efforts. Together with the other CCL volunteers, the three ISU students attended various sessions as well as advocacy training workshops during the conference and then participated in the lobby day activities on Capitol Hill.
