Senior Professionals at Illinois State University offers lifelong-learning classes geared toward people of retirement age, though everyone is welcome to attend. Classes are open to the public.
The fall season kicks off with the four-part Academy of Seniors class called Sustainability: Beyond the Buzzword with sessions on September 11, 13, 18 and 20. Class times are 1:30-3:30 pm. Elisabeth Reed, sustainability director, and Christine Bruckner, sustainability assistant director, both from Illinois State University, are the presenters.
