During his State of the University address last week, Interim President Aondover Tarhule announced a 3.5 percent merit-based salary increase effective January 1, 2024, for continuous faculty and staff with non-negotiated appointments. The University Budget Office will soon share additional eligibility and process details with salary managers to assess and apply increases.
It is anticipated at this time salaried semi-monthly-paid qualifying employees will see this increase in their mid-January 2024 pay advice. All other qualifying employees will see this increase in their January 2024 month-end pay advice.
Pay increases for employees in bargaining units will continue to be determined by the terms of the applicable contract.
