On Friday, September 8, the Department of Politics and Government held its annual New Student Orientation for freshmen. Dr. T.Y. Wang, department chair, and nine other department faculty members were on hand to welcome approximately 20 new students.
Dean Heather Dillaway was also present to share a few words with those in attendance. Senior Ryleigh Hickman provided information on Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society. Junior Katie Gac informed students about the Pre-Law Club.
There was time afterward for students and faculty to ask and answer questions.
