With more than a decade of practitioner experience that informs her teaching, research, and service, Dr. Mollet centers her research on questions of equity and inclusion with a focus on the experiences, development, and outcomes of students with historically minoritized sexual and gender identities.
Using both qualitative and quantitative data, Amanda pushes boundaries by bringing a queer lens to examine ideas, practices, policies, theories, and norms. She has presented more than 60 national and international presentations. Her scholarship is featured in many journals, including the Journal of College Student Development, Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, and the Journal of Student Affairs Research and Practice. She has a strong understanding of strategies for bridging theory-to-practice to make research relatable for practitioners.
