To commemorate Illinois State University’s sixth annual Thank-a-Donor Days, we are excited to share a series of features highlighting scholarship recipients from a few of the colleges at Illinois State and Redbird Athletics.
Thank-a-Donor Days is a unique event that allows students to initiate and maintain a relationship with university donors, with whom they may not otherwise have had an opportunity to connect. Scholarship recipients have the opportunity to write a letter to their scholarship donor, learn about philanthropy, and enjoy free food and prizes at Thank-a-Donor Days.
Scholarship recipients are often distinguished by their work in their prospective major, involvement on campus, and/or their dedication to their passions. Scholarships align with Illinois State’s values of individualized attention and scholarship, while ensuring each student’s journey here is one of a kind.
