The Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism has featured Professor Tom McClure, Legal Studies director, in its Spotlight Series. The Commission highlights Illinois legal professionals who demonstrate the ideals of professionalism in their daily lives. Professor McClure is the first profile for this new series.
The interview highlights McClure’s career as a general practitioner in Kankakee County before coming to Illinois State, as well as his pro bono work with Prairie State Legal Services, where he helped to create an expungement clinic for low-income individuals seeking to expunge and seal old criminal records.
