The 2024 Missouri Valley Conference Basketball Tournaments are happening this March, and Illinois State University is planning events for fans to attend and get ready for the action.

Hoops in the Heartland, Quad Cities

Take in Redbird basketball March 14-17 as Illinois State’s women’s team heads to the Quad Cities for Hoops in the Heartland. As a part of the weekend, Illinois State Athletics, the Office of the President, and the Alumni Association invite you to Pour Bros. Craft Taproom Moline (our official tournament weekend hangout) before the Redbirds take on the Evansville Aces on March 14 at 2:30 p.m.

This Redbird Rally will feature a program that includes Illinois State Interim President Aondover Tarhule, Interim Director of Athletics Jeri Beggs, and performances by Illinois State’s band and cheerleading team.

Cost: Free to attend. Complimentary food provided by Interim President Tarhule and Redbird Athletics. Cash bar available.

Arch Madness, St. Louis

Redbird fans heading to St. Louis to watch our men’s basketball team play in Arch Madness on March 7-10 can also stop by the Budweiser Brew House inside Ballpark Village (next to Busch Stadium) before each game.

When: 4 p.m., Thursday, March 7 (tipoff 6 p.m. against Evansville)
Where: Budweiser Brew House, 601 Clark Avenue #101, St. Louis
Cost: Free to attend with food and drink options available for purchase. Appetizers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis sponsored by the Illinois State President’s Office.

Budweiser Brew House will serve as the pregame and postgame headquarters for Redbird fans throughout Arch Madness. Located just north of Busch Stadium, Budweiser Brew House is the official gathering spot for Redbird fans at the Valley Tournament. Fans are encouraged to meet there and socialize before and after all Illinois State games.
