Annual CMS Benefit Choice Open Enrollment period closes
Illinois State University benefit-eligible employees who updated or made changes via the state’s CMS Open Enrollment from May 1-31 this year will see those changes take effect on July 1, 2024.
Tuition waiver requests available NOW
Faculty and staff who have a dependent child attending Illinois State University may submit a tuition waiver application to Human Resources beginning June 1. This will ensure that a credit is received on the first tuition bill. The Tuition Waiver Application (and tuition waiver forms for other schools in Illinois) is located on the Human Resources website. One application needs to be filed each academic year. “All About ISU” staff orientation summer schedule
Each month, staff who are new to the University gather for breakfast and a peek into the history, values, and benefits of working at Illinois State. With summer scheduling being different, the May orientation was held on Thursday, May 9. June is scheduled for Watterson Dining 1969 Room on Thursday, June 20 at 8 a.m., and July has moved to Wednesday, July 24 at 8 a.m. with location TBD.
Staff who are new to the University and who have not attended this welcome meeting should work with their supervisors to get scheduled into the next available session. Supervisors can contact their Employment Consultant in HR for more information and to secure a spot.
