The Illinois State University Planetarium is pleased to offer the full-dome show, Fight Adventures, running May 29 through July 12, 2024. Showtimes are Wednesdays at 2 p.m., and Fridays at 7:30 p.m. There is no show on June 19, 2024.
Discover the science of flight through the eyes of a young girl and her grandfather as they explore how birds, kites, and aircraft fly. Learn the history and future plans of flight. Finally, see how NASA is discovering new and safer ways to travel with the help of future engineers and aviators—like you!
Admission to the Illinois State University Planetarium is $7 for adults; $6 for children ages 5-12, seniors, and ISU ID holders; and $5 for children ages 3-4. Cash or checks only. Tickets may be purchased next to the Planetarium beginning 20 minutes before each show. Seating is limited.
The ISU Planetarium is located under the white-domed roof at the eastern end of Felmley Hall of Science Annex. Felmley Hall sits on the northeast corner of the ISU campus at the intersection of College Avenue and School Street.
Parking for the Wednesday matinees at 2 p.m., is available for a minimal fee in the visitor lot, located on Locus Street. Free parking for the Friday programs at 7:30 p.m., is available a short distance from the ISU Planetarium in University parking lot F-67, on the east side of School Street.
