School of Teaching and Learning graduates stand out among the class of 2024

Elementary education was the top major among Illinois State University graduates in May, with 226 students earning their bachelor’s degree. A total of 347 bachelor’s degrees and 37 master’s degrees were awarded in the School of Teaching and Learning.

The University granted 2,900 baccalaureate degrees and 639 graduate degrees. The youngest graduate was 19, the oldest, 65. Thirty-six states were represented, with 300 international graduates. The graduate who traveled the farthest was from Malaysia.
