Finalists for the director of the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access (OEOA) at Illinois State University will be on campus September 30, and October 1, 2, and 3. 

Monday, September 30: Cornelius Brownlee

Brownlee is currently assistant dean of student conduct and community standards at Lincoln University of Missouri in Jefferson City, Missouri. Previous to this role, he served as the executive director of equity and inclusion, at Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. Brownlee holds a Bachelor of Science in rehabilitation counseling and a Master of Science in integrated marketing and management communication, both from Florida State University (Tallahassee, Florida).

Tuesday, October 1: Ashley Pritts

Pritts is currently the assistant director and Title IX coordinator for the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access at Illinois State University. Prior to becoming the associate director, she served as an equal opportunity investigator in that same office. Pritts holds a Bachelor of Arts in English education and a Master of Science in college student personnel administration, both from Illinois State University.

Wednesday, October 2: Richard (Rick) Olshak

Olshak was previously the director, Title IX and student conduct compliance, system ethics and compliance officer (SECO) for the Texas A&M University System in College Station, Texas. Prior to joining Texas A&M, he served as the associate dean of students at Illinois State University. Olshak holds a Bachelor of Arts in public communication from the College of Saint Rose (Albany, New York) and a Master of Science in college student personnel from Western Illinois University (Macomb, Illinois).

Thursday, October 3: Brandon Craig

Craig is currently the assistant director in the Office of Equal Opportunity at the University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati, Ohio). Prior to becoming the assistant director, he served as interim executive director of non-discrimination policy administration in the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access at the University of Cincinnati. Craig holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a Juris Doctorate, both from the University of Cincinnati.

The candidates will spend their day meeting with the search committee and various constituencies across campus who have direct interaction with OEOA. It is the committee’s hope to fill this important campus position within the next few weeks.
