President Tarhule hosts open forums for the campus community to discuss RISE 

President Aondover Tarhule is inviting the campus community to Open Forums in mid-November to learn more about RISE – Illinois State’s path to Resilience, Innovation, Sustainability, and Excellence. The RISE Taskforce, chaired by Dr. Martha Horst, professor of music theory and composition and chair of the Academic Senate and Amanda Hendrix, interim associate vice president for budget and planning, is established and its work is underway. 

Since his State of the University Address in September, President Tarhule has met with numerous campus leadership teams to discuss how RISE, in tandem with our strategic plan, will help Illinois State navigate the challenging landscape. As we begin this important endeavor, President Tarhule will join Interim Vice President for Finance and Planning Dan Petree to discuss RISE and seek input from students, faculty, and staff on the path ahead.
