Lindsay Stallones Marshall, HIS, presented a paper titled, “Calling the Bluff on ‘America First’: ‘Big Bill’ Thompson, the Grand Council Fire of American Indians, and the 1927 Chicago Battle of the School Books” and co-facilitated “K12 Teacher Workshop: Teaching Narrative and the Place of the Past in Indigenous History” at the Western History Association annual conference in Kansas City, Mo.

Taylor Soja, HIS, presented a paper titled, “White Aprons in Dirty Wars: The Professionalization of Military Nursing in Britain’s Colonial Conflicts,” at the North American Conference on British Studies (NACBS), in Denver, Col.
