Milner Library’s metadata librarian Emily Baldoni recently co-authored a fifth edition of the book, The Organization of Information, by Bloomsbury Publishing, along with primary author Daniel Joudrey. This foundational guide is the most recent offering guiding the rapidly changing field of information science.
The Organization of Information is a major textbook used by library schools across the country to provide library and information science professionals with a foundation in the principles of library cataloging, archival description, metadata for digital collections, and museum registration.
