April Anderson, university archivist at the Dr. JoAnn Rayfield University Archives, will present a talk entitled “The Walls Speak: Telling ISU’s Story Through its Campus Buildings” at 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 27 in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center.
The presentation will highlight Anderson’s new book, Illinois State University, and its companion exhibit in Milner Library. The book is part of Arcadia Publishing’s The History Series. Anderson will speak about some of the stories highlighted in the book, preview historic campus photos, and discuss how she chose the photos and stories that ultimately made it into the book.
All faculty, staff, annuitants, and guests are welcome to attend University Club, which runs from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the Provost and the Office of the President. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
