The 34th annual Printmakers’ Exhibition and Sale will be from 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Friday, December 7, in the Intaglio Studio, room 123 of Illinois State University Center for the Visual Arts (CVA 123). A preview of the sale will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 6, and is open to the public.
Hundreds of original prints by Illinois State students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visiting artists will be showcased with many of the artworks ranging from $2 to $100 payable by cash, check, or credit card.
Proceeds from the sale support the artists in the printmaking program with a percentage of every sale going to the Printmaking Speaker Fund. 100% of proceeds from selected works are applied to the Printmaking Student Travel Fund to support student participation in national conferences.
Silent auctions will be held for four featured works: Reuben Lorch-Miller untitled, Morgan Price things we cannot unsee, Sarah Smelser Extended Dream, and Veda Rives Progression. Bids will be accepted until 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 7, and can be submitted during the sale to the cashiers or via email.
