Three finalists have been announced for the Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning director position at Illinois State University. Open forums for the candidates will be October 18, 21, and 28. The campus and local communities are invited to attend the forums.
Katy Strzepek, Ph.D. – 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 18
Circus Room, Bone Student Center
Strzepek is currently director of the Women and Gender Studies Program and WGS Resource Center at St. Ambrose University. She received a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College. She received a master’s degree from Northwestern University and a doctorate from Illinois State University.
Marianne Lorensen, Ph.D. – 1:30 p.m., Monday, October 21
Circus Room, Bone Student Center
Lorensen is currently a specialized teaching faculty member in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Florida State University. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky. She received a master’s degree in education from Pennsylvania State University and also from University of Illinois. She received a doctorate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Anthony Siracusa, Ph.D. – 1:30 p.m., Monday, October 28
Old Main Room, Bone Student Center
Siracusa is currently assistant director of the Collaborative for Community Engagement at Colorado College. He received a bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College. He received a master’s degree and doctorate from Vanderbilt University.
