Eastview Christian Church hosted a local vendor fair at its Normal facility on the evening of October 1 for parents with children of special needs. All vendors at the event were related service providers for individuals with special needs. Attendees came to learn about different organizations that might help their families.
Cara Boester and Candice Osenga, directors of clinical education in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, supported the event on behalf of the Eckelmann-Taylor Speech and Hearing Clinic, along with second-year graduate students Courtney Huellen and Melissa Jenkins. Staff and students used this outreach opportunity to share information and answer questions about speech-language and audiology services provided at Illinois State.
Overall, the vendor fair was a successful evening that benefited all. Learn more about the services at the Eckelmann-Taylor Speech and Hearing Clinic.
