Kimberly McCoul Risinger, an Illinois State University professor of flute, will present a free recital on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. in Kemp Recital Hall. The performance is part of the Charles W. Bolen Faculty Recital Series.
Risinger will perform Four Movements for Virtuosi by Argentine composer Carlos Franzetti, the Midwest premiere of David Maslanka’s Song of My Nights, Two Movements for flute and piano by Matthew Halper, and Jules Demersseman’s Sixieme Solo de Concert, Op. 82.
Risinger will be accompanied by Grammy nominated pianist Allison Brewster Franzetti and David Gresham, Illinois State University associate professor of clarinet.
