Illinois State University’s School of Music will present “Music for the Holidays” on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 3 and 4 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 3 p.m. in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. General admission is $15, $12 for faculty and staff and $10 for students and senior citizens. Tickets are available at the CPA box office, through Ticketmaster or by calling (309) 438-2535.
Festive music for the holiday season will be performed by the Illinois State University Symphony Orchestra, Combined Choirs, Madrigal Singers and the Singing Redbirds children’s choir. The program will feature traditional holiday favorites along with Navidad Nuestra by Argentine composer Ariel Ramirez. The concert will conclude with a visitor from the North Pole.
