The Illinois State University Symphonic Winds will perform in concert on Sunday, April 22, at 3 p.m. in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Tickets are $8 for general admission, $7 for faculty/staff and $6 for students and seniors.
The concert program will feature Fantasy Variations on a Theme by Nicolo Paganini by James Barnes; Norman Dello Joio’s Fantasies on a Theme by Haydn; Percy Grainger’s Mock Morris; Sea Songs by Thomas Knox and Traveler by David Maslanka. The Symphonic Winds are will be conducted by Stephen K. Steele, Illinois State director of bands, and School of Music graduate student Jerusha Johnson.
