The Office of Research and Graduate Studies (ORGS) is accepting proposals for the 2021–2022 academic year Research Lecture Series. This series will be financially supported by ORGS and will consist of approximately four to six talks that should be of broad general interest to the campus community.
Proposals should include, at a minimum, a description of the theme, speakers, estimates of costs, and how the series fits within Illinois State University’s strategic plan, Educate Connect Elevate.
Please submit proposals to Dr. Craig McLauchlan by March 25, 2021.
ORGS launched its inaugural lecture series this year with four research talks focused on water research. This theme was proposed and organized by Illinois State’s Center for a Sustainable Water Future. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, this series has been successfully moved to a virtual format. The series hosted two prominent water scholars during the fall semester. There are currently two more events scheduled for the spring semester:
