Brittney Vietti is the 2022 recipient of the Administrative Professional Emerging Leader award. This award recognizes an A/P staff member whose professional performance has shown tremendous promise for and commitment to the University community.
Vietti serves as the director of Enrollment Management and Undergraduate Studies for the Department of Politics and Government at ISU. Through this role, she advises all political science majors and minors, oversees all recruitment and retention initiatives within the department, as well as coordinates the undergraduate internship experience.
Vietti completed her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and earned her Master of Science in college student personnel administration from Illinois State University. In addition to her work responsibilities, Vietti serves as a representative on the Academic Advising Council (AAC), is a member of the AAC Professional Development & Training Committee, provides support to students as a Title IX advisor, and teaches a section of the IDS 128 Thriving in College course for first-year redbirds each fall semester.
