The 29-member Presidential Search Committee met on Thursday, January 25, 2024, with representatives of Parker Executive Search, the external search firm assisting with the process.
The search committee narrowed the pool of candidates down from 41 to 11. These candidates will proceed to the next stage of the process, which includes virtual interviews.
The proposed process timeline includes:
- February 5 and 6, 2024 – Virtual interviews conducted with semi-finalist candidates
- The weeks of February 19, 2024, and February 26, 2024 – Finalist candidates invited to campus for interviews
- March 5, 2024 – Search committee tentatively scheduled to bring a recommendation to the Board of Trustees
