Queer Coalition, Illinois State University’s LGBTQIA+ faculty, staff, and graduate student affinity group, will be partnering with cultural heritage collections across campus this summer to explore queer history through an intersectional lens. Attendees can expect a 30-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session. All are welcome to attend.
The schedule for this summer’s chats will be as follows:
- Friday, June 7, noon-1 p.m.: Rebecca Fitzsimmons; Milner Library Special Collections (meet in Special Collections Reading Room, 6th floor, Milner Library)
- Monday, July 15, 11 a.m.-noon: Jennifer Banning; Lois Jett Historic Costume Collection (meet in Turner Hall, Room 126)
- Friday, August 2, 12-1 p.m.: April Anderson-Zorn; Dr. Jo Ann Rayfield Archives (meet at 2016 Warehouse Road in Normal; sign up to give or get a ride here)
