Faculty and staff are invited to take part in the final phase of the Campus Climate Assessment for Diversity and Inclusion in the form of an online survey.
The assessment, coordinated through the Division of Student Affairs, is being performed by the Center for the Study of Race & Equity in Education. Results will be shared with the University.
The survey is open until February 5. Faculty and staff can take the survey here.
“The Illinois State University campus community is strongly encouraged to complete the survey and share experiences and perceptions related to the inclusiveness of the campus,” said Interim Vice President of Student Affairs Brent Paterson.
According to survey organizers, responses are completely anonymous and the link provided to access the survey does not trace the source of responses in any way. Reporting of the data collected by the survey will be done in the aggregate, which means no individual responses will be provided, but rather responses will be grouped together by categories of race, gender, professional role, etc. Any and all short-answer responses will be analyzed for patterns and themes to further ensure confidentiality of the individual responses provided.
The survey should not take more than 30 minutes.
