The search for Illinois State University’s vice president of the Division of Student Affairs has been narrowed to three candidates. The public and campus community are invited to open forums with the candidates. All open forums will be held at 2 p.m. in the Old Main Room of the Bone Student Center.
Lori Reesor
Tuesday, March 22, 2 p.m. Old Main Room, Bone Student Center
Reesor is currently the vice president for student affairs at the University of North Dakota, where she oversees areas including enrollment management, student academic services, the Dean of Students Office, and health and wellness. During her tenure on the university’s executive council, Reesor has helped achieve record enrollments—with record-breaking first-year GPAs—as well as increased student diversity. She championed the creation of the first associate vice president for diversity and inclusion on the campus. Reesor was also instrumental in the creation of a One Stop Student Services unit.
She earned a Ph.D. in education policy and leadership from the University of Kansas. Reesor also earned a certificate from the Harvard Institute for Educational Management in 2014.

Eric Arneson
Thursday, March 24, 2 p.m. Old Main Room, Bone Student Center
Arneson is currently the assistant vice president for student affairs at Florida International University in North Miami, where he oversees areas such as campus life, campus recreation, orientation, and the Wolfe University Center. During his tenure with the university, he helped oversee completion of the $4.6 million renovation of the university center, and is helping to coordinate the $25.5 million renovation of the recreation center. Arneson collaborated to bring classes into the student union, and created a task force to restructure and re-energize sorority and fraternity life on campus. He teaches courses on student development theory on campus.
Arneson earned an Ed.D. in higher education from Florida International University.

Levester Johnson
Wednesday, March 30, 2 p.m. Old Main Room, Bone Student Center
Johnson is currently the vice president for student affairs at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, overseeing such areas as residential life, programs for leadership and service education, diversity programs, and Title IX. During his tenure, he provided leadership for the planning, design, and marketing of a $40 million, 644-bed residence hall, and another housing project for $48 million that includes a 500-bed apartment village. Johnson also served in a leadership role helping to develop the Efroymson Diversity Center on Butler’s campus as well as the Celebration of Diversity Distinguished Lecture Series.
He earned an Ed.D. in higher education administration from Indiana University.
