Shane McCreery, Illinois State University’s director of the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access (OEOA) and Title IX coordinator, has accepted a position as the director of the Office for Institutional Opportunity and Access and Title IX coordinator at the University of Kansas. McCreery has served in his position at Illinois State for 12 years.
“Shane has made significant contributions to Illinois State during his time at the University,” said President Larry Dietz. “We are grateful for his service and wish him continued success in his new position.”
Illinois State’s General Counsel Lisa Huson will serve as interim director of OEOA and Mboka Mwilambwe, assistant director of OEOA, will serve as Title IX coordinator during the national search process. The search is expected be completed before October.
