The Central Illinois Paralegal Association (CIPA) offers students in a paralegal studies program the opportunity to be the recipient of a $500 scholarship. The CIPA recently solicited essays from area paralegal students, reviewed the submissions, and named Illinois State University legal studies major Haley Stratton the winner of this competitive award.
Stratton won the award for her essay titled, “Accomplishing Your Dreams.” Stratton transferred to Illinois State last fall. She has been named to the dean’s list every semester she has attended this university.
Stratton will be honored at the June meeting of the CIPA and will have the opportunity to attend the annual educational seminar in September.
The Central Illinois Paralegal Association is a NALA Affiliate and is composed of volunteer paralegals working every day to advance the paralegal profession.
