Professor Emeritus of Chemistry Frank Shaw III will present a talk titled, “Climate Change: Evidence for (including demonstrations) and Mitigation” Friday, September 30, at the University Club in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center.
The meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Faculty/Staff Lounge of the Bone Student Center, with the talk commencing at 4:30 p.m.
The talk will review the evidence and several demonstrations, and look at some steps needed to mitigate the increasingly rapid accumulation of CO2 in the atmosphere and thermal energy in the atmosphere and oceans.
