Marcus Ricci, energy program coordinator of the Ecology Action Center (EAC), will present “Ecology Action Center: Energy and Water Program Updates” Friday, October 7, at the University Club in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center.
The meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Faculty/Staff Commons of the Bone Student Center, with the talk commencing at 4:30 p.m.
Ricci will review recent and ongoing energy conservation/efficiency and clean water programs at the EAC, including the wrap-up of the Solar Bloomington-Normal solar PV system group purchase program and the ongoing BNenergyBright outreach program. He will also review this past June’s Yard Smart Garden Walk and talk about the new Sugar Creek Stewards Program. Questions about resource management, from rain barrels and native landscaping to insulation and geothermal energy are encouraged.
