Cristian Casanova, an undergraduate student of the Department of Politics and Government, recently was accepted into the Public Health Leader Fellows Program with the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor after a rigorous application process. He was chosen out of 700 applications to participate in a 10-week residential program this summer between May 22 and July 28.
The program consists of working with other community organizations around the Ann Arbor area, taking seminars and courses in public health and health inequities, all of which leads to presenting a research project at the end of the program.
