New IT study space now open

Those who remember 116 Old Union as the home of Rapid Print will find it hard to recognize. There are now comfortable chairs with laptop arms as well as small tables for more sociable studying.

Students from the School of Information Technology (IT) and the College of Business traveled to John Deere’s world headquarters in Moline to tour the corporate facilities and the Davenport Works plant (over 52-acres under one roof) as part of Business Week’s fall semester events.

Each summer an increasing number of students from the College of Business and the School of Information Technology at Illinois State University serve as interns at Discover Financial Services. Many of these and other students become full-time employees of Discover upon graduation.
