The Division of Student Affairs will recognize five outstanding young alumni during Homecoming week at the Alumni Day Luncheon on October 14th. Two of the recipients are Political Science alums, Richard Greenfield and Nikita Richards.
David Butler ’76, M.S. ’86, an Illinois State University Politics and Government alum and a retired judge, was recently awarded the Pro Bono Service Award.
The lessons Sharon Ponder-Ballard ’86 learned as a political science major helped to mold her into a powerful educator who would go on to win the prestigious 2022 Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching.
