Twelve Thousand Bombs seminar series continues in fall 2024

The Twelve Thousand Bombs seminar series on nuclear weapons will continue this fall with four eminent scholars and public figures speaking at ISU. The series, sponsored by the Office of Research and Graduate Studies, was inaugurated in 2023 and aims to raise awareness of nuclear weapons issues in the Bloomington-Normal community.

The ISU Planetarium is pleased to offer “Big Astronomy,” running weekends from September 6 through November 16.  Showtimes are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Join us as we team up with State Farm and U.S. Hunger to host the first Million Meal Pack on Saturday, September 7, from 8:30 a.m.- 6 p.m., at CEFCU Arena. Volunteers are still needed to help fill teams in the afternoon.
