The Illinois State University Office of Equity and Inclusion is proud to launch a new program for the ISU community called “ISU in Conversation.” These open forums will give Redbird faculty, staff, and students the opportunity to discuss themes relevant to campus and to share concerns and suggestions with peers and ISU leadership.

Come play board games with us! Want to learn to play mahjong? The popular title-based game in Asia is a game of skills, luck, and strategy. AsiaConnect is hosting a game day on Friday, May 3. We will end the school year with games (board games and mahjong). Light refreshments and Chinese/Japanese tea will be provided.

AsiaConnect 2024 scholarship
AsiaConnect is proud to offer two scholarships for $300 each to support ISU undergraduate students studying or researching Asian and Asian American culture, language, experiences, and/or participating in study abroad programs in Asian countries.

AsiaConnect is hosting a Lunar New Year celebration at the Multicultural Center from noon to 1 p.m. February 9.
Driving change: Inclusive, equitable and just STEM education
The program focuses on undergraduate students who have historically been excluded from STEM areas of study. The desire is to foster institutional change toward inclusive, equitable, and just STEM education. The ISU program will provide support to these students so that they may excel and become leaders in the STEM field, as well as professional development opportunities for STEM faculty and staff.
