MCN welcomes faculty, students from Vladimir Medical College
Illinois State University’s Mennonite College of Nursing (MCN) welcomed several Russian visitors from Vladimir Medical College for a two-week visit in October. Vladimir Medical College faculty members Olga Antropova, Natalia Ushakova, and Nina Bedova and students Grigorii Antropov and Vera Rybina arrived Saturday, October 19, in the United States. They were able to relax on Sunday before arriving on campus Monday morning.
Alums establish Adkisson-Bourne Endowed Scholarship to help nontraditional nursing students
The Adkisson-Bourne Endowed Scholarship was recently established at Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University by Bill Adkisson ’78 and his wife, Ellen Bourne ’71, M.S.E. ’73, who are both proud graduates of Illinois State University and have enjoyed long and successful careers as consultants to the health care industry.
