Illinois State to host its first Lavender Graduation, May 6

Illinois State University is proud to announce its first Lavender Graduation, a ceremony that celebrates the accomplishments and success of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ), and allied students completing their degrees.

Asian Film Festival begins April 9

In celebration of Asian-American Heritage Month, AsiaConnect will present the 2015 Asian Film Festival from Thursday, April 9, through Sunday, April 12, at the Normal Theater.

Authors of Picking Cotton to headline Science and Technology Week

Jennifer Thompson and Ronald Cotton, co-authors of the New York Times best-selling book Picking Cotton, will be the keynote speakers for Illinois State University’s Science and Technology Week, April 6 to 10. Science and Technology Week events are sponsored by the College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST).

In light of recent national concerns, on Wednesday, March 25, at 6:30 p.m. the Interfraternity Council will be joined by the Fraternity and Sorority Life community in a solidarity walk starting in Milner Plaza and continuing through the Quad.
