If there is an outstanding staff member providing excellent, impactful support for students or faculty, we want to know about it! Nominations are now open for the 2025 Williams Outstanding Technology Service Award. All full-time administrative professional or civil service employees in roles supporting technology with at least four years of experience in their role or similar roles at Illinois State University are eligible to be nominated.

Board of Trustees approves purchase of future home of College of Engineering
The Illinois State University Board of Trustees voted during its regular meeting on Friday, October 11, 2024, to purchase the property located at 1709 and 1711 General Electric Road, Bloomington, IL, to serve as the home of the new College of Engineering. Classes will be held in this location beginning Fall 2026.

Online students building community on campus for PULSE Day
The Department of Special Education’s Paraprofessionals Unlocking Licensure in Special Education (PULSE) program has created an active community since it was launched in May 2023. One year later, program organizers hosted the first PULSE Day on May 18th, 2024 to welcome new and current students to campus for a day of professional development and community building.
