CAST announces Three Minute Thesis competition finalists

On December 3, the College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST) held its Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a research communication competition that challenges master’s and doctoral students to describe their research topic and its significance in just 3 minutes to a general audience.

The College of Applied Science and Technology and the Department of Agriculture are sincerely grateful for the recent investment by Compeer Financial that contributed to a complete renovation of the Farm classroom. The ribbon was cut on October 12, 2021, in a formal ceremony attended by representatives of Compeer Financial, the College of Applied Science and Technology, and the Department of Agriculture.

Student’s research flowers at Horticulture Center

Former Bone Scholar Kate Del Fava ’20 may attend veterinary school someday, just as she intended to do after graduating in May 2020 as a pre-veterinarian medicine and animal sciences double major. But the new Kansas City team of the National Women’s Soccer League is glad those plans are on hold for now.
