Different kind of cure: Alumna helps uninsured afford health care

Partnerships are at the center of Advocatia Solutions, both with clients and the staff team. Laura Robbins, who welcomed her first child in July, tackled a project with co-worker Matthew Neff.

Laura (Brebner) Robbins ’10, M.S. ’12, has partnered with her brother to create Advocatia Solutions, a company working to make accessing health care benefits much easier for uninsured and underinsured patients.

Arielle De Lisle ’15 was a sophomore University Studies major focusing on sociology when she met Kyle Cadagin ’13 during a game of beer pong at an off-campus party.

Legacy families with current students attending Illinois State will be recognized at the annual Legacy Brunch during Family Weekend on Sunday, October 6. Scholarship makes all the difference to theatre major from Texas

Scholarship support made all the difference for Texas native Daija Nealy ’19. The theatre major came to ISU as a freshman after having been recruited by universities across the country.

Redbird legacy: Ties to ISU extend to both sides of family tree

Lawrence Whittet ’78 and his ex-wife, Melissa “Missy” (Gehrt) ’77, met at a Toga party as undergraduates. Dating led to marriage in 1980, which extended an ISU legacy on both sides of their family tree.
