Francesco Ferrari earned his undergrad and master’s from the University of Bologna (Italy), and his PhD in Italian Studies at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His research examines the notion of nostalgia in Italian culture and literature between 19th and 20th centuries. Francesco taught Italian

On April 25-28, 2024, the School of Communication, in partnership with the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, the School of Theatre and Dance, and the Woonsook Kim School of Art, will host the second annual Foxtail Film Festival at the Normal Theatre.
