Research center spotlight: Normal Editions Workshop

Since 1976, Normal Editions Workshop has served as an incubator for hundreds of printmaking projects created through collaborations between professional artists and Illinois State faculty and students.

Symphony Orchestra to perform September 24

The Illinois State University Symphony Orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, September 24, in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for faculty/staff, and $6 for students and seniors.

Lecture, queer dance party at Galleries

Artist and activist Amy Cousins will give a lecture at noon Thursday, October 5, at the University Galleries in Uptown Normal, followed by a Queer Dance Party from 9-11 p.m. Saturday, October 7, also at the Galleries.

Director of the Big Red Marching Machine Polly Middleton is getting the band ready for their first performance of the season at the Redbird Football home opener. Not only is it the first of the season, but it will be her first as director, a little less than two months since being named to the post.
