The 29-member Presidential Search Committee met on Thursday, January 25, 2024, with representatives of Parker Executive Search, the external search firm assisting with the process.
Illinois State opening at noon on Tuesday, January 23, 2024
Due to forecasted weather conditions Tuesday morning, January 23, 2024, the University will open at noon.
Illinois State closed as of noon on Monday, January 22, 2024
Illinois State University will be closing as of noon on Monday, January 22, 2024, due to extreme weather conditions. All classes (in-person, hybrid, and online) that began at noon or after are cancelled, including evening classes. Residence halls, dining centers and the University Police Department will remain open. All other University buildings will be closed.
ISU Planetarium presents Unveiling the Invisible Universe, January 26-March 2
The ISU Planetarium is excited to present, Unveiling the Invisible Universe, running weekends January 26-March 2. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

All classes (in-person, hybrid, and online) are canceled Tuesday, January 16, 2024, and will not be delivered remotely. Residence halls and residential dining centers will remain open. All other campus buildings will be closed.
